Public Narrative Training (Harvard Kennedy School, taught by Marshall Ganz)

  • Train directly with Marshall Ganz in the Story of Self, Us, and Now

  • Build narrative skill rooted in lived experience, collective power, and moral clarity

  • Develop messaging that moves people from belief to action

  • Apply narrative strategy across organizing, communications, and movement work

Indivisible Lower Merion — Communications Work

  • Contribute Calls to Action every two months as part of ILM’s CTA writing team

  • Write clear, direct instructions that mobilize members during urgent political moments

  •  Contribute to ILM’s Letters to the Editor team and support public-facing messaging

  • Support ILM’s Social Media team by writing posts that inform and activate neighbors

  • Help maintain tone, clarity, and accessibility across ILM communications

  • Strengthen ILM’s ability to reach, educate, and mobilize the local community

Movement Communications

  • Write original, rhythmic chants used at major rallies, including chants printed on official event materials.

  • Lead chants and convert protest energy into focused, collective language

  • Communicate direction, safety, and pacing to large crowds in real time

  • Hold attention and unify groups during high-tension, fast-moving protest moments

Writing as Activism

  • Contribute written Calls to Action every two months as part of ILM’s CTA writing group

  • Serve on the Social Media Team and support ILM’s online presence

  • Contribute to ILM’s Letters to the Editor Team and support media-facing messaging

  • Support the Citizens Bank Protest team with planning and coordination

  • Show up consistently and help people understand how to plug into ILM’s work

  • Answer questions and connect community members with concrete actions

  • Represent ILM at rallies and events and help elevate the group’s visibility

  • Build relationships with organizers and community members across the Main Line
